On Sunday, Riders Lounge partnered with Uganda Waragi to take on a new urban brunch culture. Dubbed the Gin & Juice Brunch, the casual yet fun engagement turned out to be a very exciting experience for diners.
A number of cocktails were on offer, with flavours ranging from Passionate, Appleragi and Guavaragi. The food portions and menu were just as rich featuring pork and chicken chops, cream, French fries, French toast, vegetables and sausages among others. The crowd, happy diners! A full meal cost Ugx 28,000 while the cocktails were served at Ugx 15,000.
The brunch is one of the events that are being held as part of Kampala Cocktail Week, which is running from December 1 to December 11, 2016. This year’s edition of cocktail week, which is running under the theme ‘Craft Bartending’ has seen a total of 30 participating bars, with cocktails being sold at discounted prices as low as Ugx 5,000.
The Kampala Cocktail Week was first introduced by The Pearl Guide to Kampala last year. The concept allows people to sample and experience 10 days of carefully crafted cocktails at discounted prices and in different top bars in Kampala. Uganda Waragi came on board again this year as the event sponsor.
